Coaching

"I didn’t really know what life coaching was – a friend recommended Julie to me.  At the end of 8 weeks I had identified my goals and in fact, when we looked back at my original goals I realised I had achieved most of my 6 month goals in 7 weeks.  Coaching has taught me to think, act and be `who’ I am …

It has been the most positive life changing experience I have ever had.”

"I suppose most people don’t suddenly conclude "what I need is a Life Coach!" (I didn’t); someone may suggest it to them (they did to me), and even then, do they really believe they can benefit? ….surely Life Coaches are for ‘other people’? (That’s what I thought!). Julie of course knows all of this and knows how to handle those of us who are not sure at first. And, whatever our needs may be, I guess most of us quickly work out that she can help in all sots of ways: but in essence for me it was about getting back to a rational outlook on what we are and what we can achieve, then helping us to plot a course that will take us there. Be honest with yourself, and with Julie, open your mind to her, trust her; then you will then rediscover your potential and reap the rewards.”

"Somehow the life coaching has opened what seemed like many closed doors for me. It is just a way of looking at things and getting the help and guidance to carry through one’s hopes and dreams and eliminate the dross as quickly as possible. I realise that my in tray will be full when I die but I hope it is full of possibilities and not minutiae. Julie cuts through to the core of our belief systems and helps to rebuild our sense of self."

“Thank you for such wise words, I’ve reread your email 5 times recently in my effort to concentrate on the positive – I can really see that my fearing the worst could create it.”

"Julie has the wonderful ability to inspire you to see beyond the routine hum-drum of everyday life and her coaching allows you to think in a more expansive way to see the "bigger picture", and moreover to think positively about the future. If you’re stuck in a rut, even the fur -lined variety, then her caring and thought provoking discussions will help you to discover many new avenues".

“I found reading the book fascinating. Particularly I think the sections on what happened after death very reassuring and it helped me to feel better about relatives who have died. The same applies to the karma sections and forgiveness. It really has helped me to look at life in a different way.”

Katie James, Occupational Health Nurse

“I loved the chapters on ‘Concept of Flow’ and ‘Joy’, which really struck a chord.  When I was reading the ‘Concept of Flow’ chapter I was literally saying Yes! out loud – I could identify with so much of it as it is similar to the way I have been feeling lately.  The paragraphs about how ‘Experiences that make you sad could also be the making of you’ and ‘What would happen if you could live your life where all had the ability to read thoughts?’ hit a particular nerve.  I read it after returning form a difficult meeting with a girlfriend and it reminded me of how important it is – both for me and others.
“I really hope you go ahead and get this book published.  I think it will be a comfort to many, many people and I for one would buy copies as Christmas presents for all my friends!  I’m very grateful that you shared it with me and I have kept copies of the chapters on Truth and Trust so I can read them again when I’m feeling low or finding things difficult”.

“This book is amazing.  Julie has helped me to live a much better, peaceful life.  Although I have had experiences with angels, I believe her book has unlocked even further my ability to live the life I was meant to live here on earth.  Can’t thank you enough Julie.  A must read for anyone who is keen to understand what their journey is all about.

“Just loving the book – had a big ahhhaa moment while reading it that I wanted to share.
While walking on the beach a number of years ago I had a moment of clarity while looking at the stones on the beach.

My wife had recently died of cancer after being diagnosed 14 months earlier. Through that year I experienced more love and joy than I thought was even possible. Through that period I discovered that I could love, actually love was what I was.

So looking at the stones, I thought, not but a year ago if I could equate my experience of love how many stones would that be? I concluded that it would be but a few stones.

What was my current experience of love, how much did I feel, express, share? I equated that to about a cubic meter of stones (that is 1 meter x 1 meter square and one meter down into the beach), and the difference between the handful and the cubic meter was immense.

I had also formed the belief that my love was infinite.

So image how joyful it would feel if it was 3 cubic meters, 10 cubic meters or even the whole beach.

But it is infinite – how many beaches are there on the Bay of Fundy, how many stones – wow, more than I could comprehend. How many beaches are there in Canada, the world. Now I had a perception of infinite. I now could relate and put away my fears that I had to hold on to my love, so I could get some back.

But with that infinite amount in me, what more love did I need? I didn’t need any. I now could give it away, unconditionally, as I knew that I would never run out. And I had discovered that when I give it away, I felt it. When I held on to it, I didn’t know I even had it.

And I loved this last line in the story, ‘And when the time is nigh, I will rejoice and sing when I cast mine eyes upon you once more.’
With the deepest love and gratitude always.”

“Julie, what a lovely book!   I found it very confirming of my beliefs and at page 22 had a huge case of déjà vu – which to me means I am on the exact path I chose before coming here. Thank you so much.”

This parable is filled with so much `goodness’.  I just loved it.”

“Hi Julie, Wow! I LOVE your book.
I loved how you spoke about ‘The Great Force of All That Is.’ What a wonderful way of putting it, it reminded me of my own thoughts, as although I practice the Catholic Faith I am very drawn to Native beliefs and was brought up Presbyterian.

The book made so much sense without being overly pushy, it made you stop and think about your own ideas about how machines have changed us, and as I was reading the book, names of people I know would enjoy this book but also names of people who could benefit from reading this book came to mind.

It was wonderful to see how Pi looked upon both the King and scribe as equals when it came to listening to their thoughts on things. I also liked how you explained how our thoughts influence our mind and feelings and how there are two groups of thoughts.

There is so much in this little book and as you can see it has given me a lot of positive food for thought plus affirmation on what I really think about the "The Great Force of All That Is."

I am now going to put a copy of your other book on request at my library. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity, it has been a blessing. Keep writing, you have a lot to share.”

Marguerita Johnson, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

“It was wonderful to see these most important pieces of wisdom in one package. It must have been a joy to write. I LOVED READING IT! There are many thoughts/explanations about daily living that have reminded me how to live "freely". This has been a wonderful reminder of how much happier and peaceful I am when I live the lessons of your parable.

I’m so impressed with your explanation of the computer rat race world we live in, Julie. I know that I’ve not read anything close to expressing what I know and feel with every ounce of my being, about our fast-paced, technological world. It has to do with businesses scraping every ounce of energy out their employees, and their employees living in fear of failing and losing their jobs if they don’t perform according to the standards (targets/forecasts) that companies impose on their employees. Or that you feel that you’re only a number, and have to perform to the absolute fullest in order to maintain your job. You’ve explained it beautifully.  Congratulations!”
